Context:
At MyOperator, a cloud-based telephony service provider in New Delhi, I worked as a UI/UX designer.
Problem:
Small businesses and local shops struggled to afford and access advanced telephony solutions.
Objective:
Design a cost-effective cloud telephony product from scratch, making virtual and toll-free numbers accessible to smaller enterprises. Develop a user-friendly interface and a comprehensive design system for seamless implementation and developer handoff.

Crafted Solutions
Crafted a new product called HeyPhone, addressing the needs of SMEs with the following features:
Mini IVR Setup on Mobile Phone
- Simplified setup process allowing users to create interactive voice response (IVR) menus directly from their mobile devices.
Setup Greeting Message
- Easy configuration of personalized greeting messages for callers, enhancing the professional image of the business.
Staff Management
- Ability for owners to add and manage staff members to attend calls, ensuring efficient call handling and distribution.
Call Distribution
- Owner’s ability to distribute and assign calls and chats to employees, facilitating better customer service and task management.
Deliverables
Product Design Documentation:
- Comprehensive document detailing the design process, user research, personas, user journey maps, and wireframes.
Wireframes and Mockups
- Low-fidelity wireframes for key screens and user flows.
- High-fidelity mockups showcasing the final design for approval.
Interactive Prototype:
- Clickable prototype to demonstrate user interactions and flow, enabling stakeholder feedback and usability testing.
Visual Design Assets
- All visual elements including icons, buttons, typography styles, and color palettes.
- Branding guidelines and logo (if applicable).
Usability Testing Reports

Developer Handoff Documentation
